COURSE INFO & MAP
The Half Marathon Miler
You will begin at 8:30 am on a gravel road then enter the woods onto the Yellow #7 Trail. This is a new trail for those who ran our 10.7 miler in March. You will then enter the woods again and meet the rolling Yellow loop. Runners will find a few more hills but also a lot more of the beautiful scenery the park has to offer. You will cross the famous Henry Mill Falls then start a slow climb through a moderately challenging and technical Red loop. Here, you run a NEW section of the Red Trail. We will bring you back over the falls where you will complete the Yellow loop to the flat finish and back to the field where we started. Medal for all finishers.
The 6.5 Miler
We will start you at 8:40 am on the same gravel road as the half marathon and start on Yellow #7 as well. You will run about 0.3 miles before entering the rolling Yellow #7 trail. This brings you to the other side of the gravel road where you will then enter the woods for the rolling Yellow loop like the Half Marathon. Runners then make their way up the Yellow Trail and back down again. You will have the same flat finish section as the Half Marathon where you exit the woods at the field. (Note: The 6.5 miler does NOT cross Henry Falls).
